It's 9/11 once again . . . time to reflect on fallen heroes and innocent people they tried to save.
Five of my grandchildren were born since that fateful day, part of the new generation of Americans. I echo the quote from a 9/11 survivor, whose name I didn't catch during the TV broadcast honoring those who died and whose four children have also been born since that fateful day;
"What I hope for my children's generation is that they can never forget the principles of freedom we enjoy as Americans."
