April 10, 2013
It has been five months since the election of Nov 6, 2012. My head can't frame words to express my heart's disappointment in the majority of American voters who appear to value empty rhetoric and entitlements more than they value liberty and responsibility. For this, I am truly sad.

Tomorrow is Election Day
OK, I'm sure nearly everyone in the country is nervous today. At least, if they aren't, they must have their heads in the sand somewhere the sun doesn't shine and the rain doesn't fall.
I work at the polls tomorrow, so that will ease my nerves a little through the day, especially since I am an Idahoan and don't have to worry about the general direction of voters in my state.
Come on, Americans -- let's do this!!

Making Calls Today
At 9:00 a.m., I went in to make some calls to Ohio voters through the online Romney-Ryan campaign outlet and had made only a couple before the notice came on my screen that there are "No More Voters" to call.
Wow. That's saying something about the organization of the campaign and the impetus of this movement. The identification methods for getting the vote out "on the ground" is better than it has ever been, and now, it appears the only thing left to do is pray . . . no problem!!

A Vote for Mitt Romney
A vote for Mitt Romney is a vote for the return of America as the great country it was and can be again.

Voted Yesterday
Yesterday, Helen Perry and I took Dorothy Browning and Evelyn Chase to the polls to vote early. We had thought we would have an easy time of it, but the lines were long. We talked to some officials about moving up in line due to the ill health of Evelyn and Dorothy. Fortunately, they let the four of us cut in line. We ended up getting finished within an hour. What a relief! Evelyn and Dorothy could never have stood in line 10 minutes, much less a couple of hours. Afterward, we went for pie at Marie Callendar's. I had strawberry-rhubarb ala mode, and it was delicious. Dorothy bought the pie for all of us. I'm feeling lots better today and think Romney is going to win. Just a few more days of this suspense!!!

Huge Storm on the East Coast
The name of the storm is Sandy, and it's already on record as being the second most devastating storm in the nation ever. Katrina was first just a few years ago. The timing of the storm looks to be an advantage for Obama because he is able to use the mainstream media to appear across the nation looking presidential and acting like a leader should--but too late for the lives of the Libyan ambassador and three other brave Americans who were killed because of his lack of leadership when they were struggling for their very lives just a few weeks ago. The Libya story gets almost no play in the media, which has a strong bias for Obama. I'm a little discouraged tonight.

America's Role in the World
"Internationally, President Obama has adopted an appeasement strategy. He believes America's role as leader in the world is a thing of the past. I believe a strong America must--and will--lead the future."
